Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Traffic Planner based in Bideford. The Traffic Planner will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating transport operations, managing traffic and fleet logistics, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. Additional day‑to‑day tasks will include optimizing route planning, liaising with drivers and customers, and maintaining records to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Skills in Transportation Planning and Traffic Management
- Ability to manage Mobility and implement Planning strategies effectively
- Knowledge or experience in Urban Planning and understanding of logistics
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in transport management tools and software is a plus
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is preferred
- Relevant education or qualifications in transportation, logistics, or a related field
