Spectrum Brands is a ~$3B global consumer products company with a portfolio of trusted, market-leading brands including Remington, Russell Hobbs, Black & Decker, George Foreman and PowerXL. Operating across multiple categories and channels, the business combines strong brand heritage with a focus on growth, innovation, and expanding its direct-to-consumer presence.
The UK & Ireland business is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly commercial, offering genuine opportunity to influence performance and develop within a well-known international consumer business.
We’re looking for a commercially minded finance professional to join the UK & Ireland business in a highly visible Finance Business Partnering role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently operating as a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Analyst, or Commercial Finance Manager who enjoys working closely with Sales and commercial teams and is looking to broaden their exposure and take the next step in their career.
The Role
This role sits at the heart of the commercial operation, partnering closely with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders to support performance across a fast-moving, multi-channel business. You’ll help the business understand performance drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and turn insight into action.
You’ll support the full P&L, working across areas such as pricing, promotional investment, customer profitability, forecasting, and cost-to-serve analysis. A key part of the role will be helping the business make informed commercial decisions by connecting financial insight with the wider customer and channel strategy.
Working closely with Sales teams, including the growing DTC channel, you’ll provide meaningful analysis and challenge around pricing, promotions, trade spend, and customer investment. You’ll also support budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring plans are aligned and based on clear commercial assumptions.
As part of a collaborative finance team, you’ll gain broad exposure across the business, working closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial leadership. You’ll also support areas such as rebates, trade terms, and working capital, helping maintain strong financial control while supporting a fast-paced commercial environment.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, pace, and visibility, and wants to build their career within a commercially focused consumer business.
Abou You
You’re a qualified accountant with experience in a commercial finance or finance business partnering role, within FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or another fast-paced environment.
You have a strong commercial mindset and enjoy partnering with non-finance stakeholders to support decision making and improve business performance. You may already have exposure to areas such as pricing, promotions, forecasting, customer profitability, or trade investment analysis.
You’re confident working with data and turning analysis into clear, actionable insight. Strong Excel skills are important, but equally important is your ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and influence stakeholders across the business.
You’re proactive, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a changing environment where priorities can move quickly. Most importantly, you’re looking for an opportunity where you can continue developing your commercial finance career, gain broader exposure, and make a genuine impact within the business.
If you’re commercially curious, analytically strong, and excited by the opportunity to influence decisions in a fast-paced consumer environment, this could be the perfect next move.
