This role sits within the Global Marketing Group and works in close collaboration with the Chemicals Business and its subsidiaries to shape and deliver new growth initiatives. Operate effectively within a diverse, multicultural organisation, applying strong business acumen to define growth initiatives and manage structured plans based on technical needs to achieve agreed objectives.~ Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities within assigned advanced materials and chemicals markets.~ Generate and champion new business ideas that support sustainable business growth.~ Collaborate closely with prospective customer technical and management teams to stay informed of future product and technology development cycles.~ Formulate robust internal and external proposals based on the company’s technical capabilities, market needs, and overall business strategy.~ Support product launches and market entry activities, working across technical, commercial, and channel partners in this broad and cross‑functional role.~ Drive strategic customer and partner relationships, securing early‑stage technology adoption, design‑ins, and long‑term collaboration aligned with Nippon Kayaku future product and application roadmaps.
Business or Technical Degree. Or equivalent commercial experience and knowledge. Commercial and / or technical experience in any of the following disciplines is desired; o Polarizers, Retarders and optical films o Electronic Materials / Semiconductors, CFRP materials and Polymers, Display Technologies 7+ years B2B related sales or technical experience. Fluent in Written and Spoken English. Ability to travel within Europe ~25-30%. Some global travel will be required. Remote / Home Office Position: Germany or United Kingdom.
