Data QA Tester

La Fosse has partnered with a growing events business to hire a Data Tester to support the quality and integrity of their data platforms. Operating in a fast-paced, data driven environment, the business relies on accurate and reliable data to power reporting, customer insights, and event delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years experience to further develop their skills in data validation, testing frameworks, and modern data tooling, working closely with data engineers and gaining exposure to end-to-end data pipelines in a live, commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate data pipelines and data models against source systems
• Perform data testing, unit testing, and reconciliation across datasets
• Write and execute SQL queries to support validation and analysis
• Work closely with Data Engineers to understand transformations and logic
• Support quality assurance across ETL/data pipeline processes

Key Skills & Experience

• Data testing / data QA
• Data pipelines or data engineering environments
• Strong SQL skills (comfortable with joins, queries, and validation)
• Understanding of data models and data validation techniques
• Exposure to Python (ability to read/understand code)
• Experience with Databricks (nice to have)
