We’re recruiting for a Technical Services Manager to join a prominent, fast‑paced and high‑footfall environment in the East Midlands. This is not a “keep the lights on” role—this is a position with real influence. You’ll sit within the senior leadership team, taking ownership of technical operations while playing a key role in shaping the future of the site. With major investment underway and a refreshed, energised team already making an impact, this is an opportunity to be part of meaningful change. You’ll lead all aspects of technical services across a large, complex environment, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and delivery of both strategic and day‑to‑day priorities.
Responsibilities
- Health & Safety and statutory compliance across the site
- Contractor management and performance oversight
- Leading technical operations across a large‑scale environment
- Ownership and management of service charge budgets
- Responsibility for CAPEX and OPEX planning and control
- Delivering major and minor projects & fit‑outs
Qualifications
- A recognised technical qualification (electrical, mechanical, or building services)
- Proven experience in a large, fast‑paced environmentStrong contractor and project management experience
- Confidence managing budgets (service charge, CAPEX & OPEX)
- Excellent communication and tenant‑facing skills
- A proactive, hands‑on approach, someone who can step in when needed
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at senior level
