An established and growing accountancy practice is expanding its tax department and is seeking a motivated Semi-Senior or Senior Tax Adviser to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid UK tax experience who enjoys client interaction and technical work whilst working within a supportive and flexible working environment.

The RoleYou will manage your own portfolio of clients while delivering tax compliance and advisory support across a broad range of matters.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a portfolio of clients and identifying tax planning opportunitiesBuilding strong client relationships and delivering exceptional serviceHandling correspondence with clients and HM Revenue & CustomsPreparing:-Income tax computationsBusiness tax computationsCapital gains tax (CGT) computations60-day CGT returnsP11D formsEmployment-related securities returnsATED returns
Reviewing work completed by junior team membersMentoring and supporting junior staffResearching technical tax matters and presenting practical solutionsExperience with trusts and estates compliance would be advantageous
What Were Looking ForEssentialMinimum 2 years experience in a similar tax roleStrong understanding of UK tax compliance and advisory workExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and TaxCalcEnthusiastic, flexible, and team-oriented approach
PreferredATT qualified or working towards qualificationTraining and ongoing development and support will be provided, including access to external courses where appropriate.
