Position: Estimating Manager
Location: Based in or around the Cambridgeshire area
Duration: Permanent
Salary: up to £60,000 plus car allowance and package
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Estimating Manager for a full‑time, permanent position within a well‑established company that has a strong standing in the building services and facilities maintenance industry.
The Estimating Manager will work closely with the Business Development Manager and Bid Manager to facilitate the sales and estimating of new service contracts throughout the UK. The right candidate will have a strong working background in estimating, particularly with service contracts in facilities maintenance, and will be able to create tender/re‑tender contracts and manage a small team.
Key responsibilities include explaining complex financial matters to stakeholders and identifying opportunities to enhance current and future performance.
Requirements
- Strong background in service estimating
- Preferably at a management level
- Facilities/Building Services Maintenance knowledge
- Proactive and driven to improve performance
- Must be happy to travel across the country when required
- Based in a commutable location to Cambridgeshire
- Full UK driving licence
- Client-focused attitude
- Must have worked on million‑pound-plus tenders
