Your responsibilities as Facilities Manager

  • Managing commercial building assets as the landlord’s on‑site representative
  • Overseeing contractors, PPM schedules, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance
  • Managing service charge budgets, expenditure forecasting and invoice approvals
  • Ensuring high standards of Health and Safety, Fire Safety and compliance across the portfolio
  • Building strong tenant relationships and attending regular occupier meetings
  • Managing CAFM systems, inspections, maintenance programmes and refurbishment support projects

What we’re looking for in a Facilities Manager

  • Proven experience of Facilities Management experience within commercial property
  • Experience working directly for a landlord
  • Proven experience managing service charge budgets is essential
  • IOSH qualified with strong Health and Safety and compliance knowledge
  • Experience managing multi‑site commercial property portfolios
  • Strong contractor management and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience using CAFM systems and compliance platforms
  • IWFM membership preferred, with NEBOSH or further FM qualifications advantageous
