Up to £26,000 per annum, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as an Online Bookings Facilitator at our Oxford, The Manor Hospital. This dual-role position is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of patient referrals, bookings, and care pathways within the hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with Medical Secretaries and Consultants to manage online booking availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Medical Secretaries and Consultants to manage and update the availability of consultants for online bookings.
  • Coordinate and oversee the online booking process for self-pay and private patients, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for queries related to online bookings, providing clear and prompt communication to patients and staff.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any booking issues, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for patients and consultants.
  • Regularly review and update consultant availability and booking slots based on demand and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and IT teams to ensure the online booking system is user-friendly, accurate, and up to date.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with Medical Secretaries, Consultants, and other hospital staff.
  • Experience in healthcare administration, bookings management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using online booking systems and hospital administration software.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality patient experience.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
