Job Description:

As a Control & Safety Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize industrial automation and safety systems that ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient operations for our customers. You will play a key role across the full project lifecycle—from concept and design through to commissioning and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Design & Solution Delivery

  • Design and develop control and safety system solutions (e.g. DCS, SIS, PLC) based on customer requirements and industry standards
  • Perform feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to validate design concepts
  • Translate technical and business requirements into robust engineering specifications

Implementation & Commissioning

  • Configure, test, and deploy control and safety systems at customer sites
  • Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
  • Ensure systems are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards

Standards, Compliance & Safety

  • Apply and contribute to engineering standards, specifications, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. functional safety, IEC standards)
  • Conduct inspections and assessments to verify system integrity and safety

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Execute tasks within project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Act as a technical point of contact for customers during project delivery

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives and digital/automation advancements
  • Support knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across teams

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare clear and accurate technical documentation, reports, and specifications
  • Maintain project documentation in line with quality and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in control and/or safety systems engineering within industrial environments
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. IEC 61508 / 61511) is an advantage
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset
