Our client is looking for an experienced Gas & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support planned and reactive works across domestic and light commercial environments in North and Central London.
This role would suit a qualified gas engineer with strong fault-finding ability, excellent customer service skills and the confidence to complete gas servicing, breakdowns, repairs and general plumbing works across live client environments.
Responsibilities include:
· Gas servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
· Attending breakdowns and diagnosing issues efficiently.
· General plumbing works including leaks, pipework, taps, toilets, radiators and cylinders.
· Working across domestic and light commercial properties.
· Completing job sheets, reports and compliance paperwork accurately.
· Liaising professionally with clients, tenants and site contacts.
· Identifying further works and reporting recommendations where required.
Requirements:
· Relevant ACS gas qualifications.
· Commercial Gas and Domestic Gas qualification coverage strongly preferred.
· Previous servicing, breakdown and maintenance experience.
· Comfortable carrying out plumbing works as part of the role.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Strong fault-finding, communication and customer service skills.
· Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
Desirable: commercial gas qualifications, unvented hot water, facilities maintenance, social housing, commercial premises or property services experience.
