IT & Systems Support Engineer

Richard Irvin a RSK Group company is recruiting for a IT & Systems Support Engineer to join the team based in Aberdeen, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support issues, escalating where necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to laptop hardware, Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS, printers, network connectivity, and other core systems.
• Provide support remotely, over the phone, and in person when required.
• Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation, asset records, and support procedures.
• Help achieve companywide ISO 27001 accreditation.
• Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory, Exchange Online, Azure, and other systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in an IT Support or similar technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, Azure, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Good understanding of IT hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Full UK Driving license.
