Product Developer – Menswear

A leading apparel business is looking to recruit a Product Developer to join their growing team in Central London. Working across two established brands, this role will focus primarily on menswear with some womenswear involvement.

The successful candidate will support the product development process from initial concept through to bulk delivery, working closely with Design, Technical, Operations and Buying teams across multiple seasons.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage development across multiple seasons from concept to delivery
• Liaise with factories across China, India and Europe
• Attend fit sessions and support fit comments and garment improvements
• Manage critical path timelines to ensure key deadlines are achieved
• Support SMU developments and wholesale customer requirements
• Develop and maintain fabric, trim and sample libraries
• Work cross-functionally with Design, Technical, Operations and Buying teams
• Support senior product and sourcing managers with day-to-day development tasks

Experience Required

• 2–5 years’ experience within apparel product development
• Strong menswear experience, with some womenswear exposure beneficial
• Good understanding of garment fit, fabrics and construction
• Experience working within a wholesale business model
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicating with overseas suppliers and factories
• Strong Excel and organisational skills
