Contracts Manager – Heavy Civils Projects

Based in Coventry, this full‑time permanent role involves both office and site‑based work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contracts across multiple heavy civils projects
• Provide full commercial and contractual oversight under NEC and bespoke contracts
• Support bid teams with pre‑contract planning, risk management and strategy
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Site Managers and Engineers
• Manage client relationships and represent the business at progress and commercial meetings
• Oversee programme delivery, cost control, change management and final accounts
• Ensure absolute compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager within heavy civils or complex infrastructure
• Strong working knowledge of NEC forms of contract
• Excellent commercial awareness and risk management capability
• Ability to manage multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills
• CSCS, SMSTS and full UK driving licence
