Job: Project Controls Manager

Location: Havant Thicket Reservoir

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + 10% Pension

Responsibilities

• Provide project controls insight to support strategic and operational decision‑making
• Produce and manage monthly reporting, dashboards and performance updates for senior management and stakeholders
• Monitor project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM), KPIs, and data‑driven dashboards
• Support senior leadership meetings, project reviews and performance discussions
• Assist in managing and structuring project scope changes in line with contract requirements
• Coordinate project risk management activities, including identification, assessment, mitigation and tracking
• Develop and maintain project structures, reporting frameworks and organisational maps
• Work closely with Project Planners to maintain and update project programmes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls systems, tools and processes

Job Requirements

• Degree qualified in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or similar
• Experience working on large, complex construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of project planning, reporting and controls methodologies
• Experience with Design & Build (D&B) projects
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and change management processes (advantageous)
• Proficient in Excel (including queries) and Power BI for reporting and data analysis
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM/information management systems
• CSCS Card (Manager or Academically Qualified)
• Full UK Driving Licence
