About The Role
We are looking for an organised and reliable individual to join the team in an administrative role supporting curriculum management and student records. This is a varied position which would suit someone who enjoys working with data, has a keen eye for detail and is able to build good working relationships with colleagues across the University.
The role will involve maintaining and updating curriculum information on the student records system, including the set-up of new courses and amendments to existing courses. You will ensure that information is entered accurately and in line with agreed processes and will provide advice and support to colleagues on curriculum-related matters. You will also work closely with Faculties and Professional Services teams to help ensure curriculum data is managed effectively.
You will support the management of student records and data quality processes by identifying and correcting data issues within agreed timescales. The post holder will provide guidance to colleagues on student record matters and support wider University reporting requirements, including external returns such as HESA and HESES where required. At key points during the academic year, you may also assist with activities such as Exam Board checks, tuition fee setting and UKVI compliance work.
Alongside the main duties of the role, you will be expected to contribute positively to the wider team and support a respectful, inclusive and professional working environment. The successful candidate will also be expected to follow the University’s health and safety procedures and support its commitment to environmental sustainability.
Ideal Candidate
You will have previous administrative experience and be comfortable working with large and sometimes complex sets of data. You should have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Teams, together with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively. Experience of working with curriculum data or student records systems such as SAP would be an advantage, although not essential.
We are looking for someone who is adaptable, willing to learn and able to work accurately under pressure. A professional approach, attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential for this role.
Please note that this role will not commence until 1 August 2026.
