Overview

This role offers extensive technical progression within a global, well‑established company that prioritises training, development and employee upskilling.

Responsibilities

• Specify and tender components, equipment and projects to support the spares and service business.
• Provide tendering support from initial enquiry to contract handover.
• Develop and submit detailed proposals, ensuring high quality and timely delivery to meet customer needs, scope, deadlines and company costs & profits.
• Review and evaluate detailed technical specifications to extract applicable client requirements.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with key clients, including site visits where necessary.
• Deliver proposals in a timely and efficient manner, focusing on customer service.

About the Candidate

• Previous experience in a Tendering or Proposals Engineer role or interest in moving into this role.
• Experience in rotating machinery/equipment product/service field (pumps, valves, turbines, etc.) is desirable.
• Strong relationship building, negotiation and collaboration skills.
• Mechanical background in rotating equipment is preferred; more junior candidates are also considered.
• Willingness to invest in ongoing training, development, and long-term career progression.
