Hours of Work:Monday to Friday: 9:00am 5:30pmSaturdays: 9:00am 1:00pm (some Saturdays off)
Salary:Negotiable, depending on experience
We are currently looking for a Light Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team at Family Cars NI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid hands-on experience who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive, well-established garage.
Youll be working on a wide range of vehicles, carrying out servicing, repairs, and general maintenance in a busy but friendly environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing and routine maintenance
- Assist with MOT preparation
- Diagnose and repair common mechanical issues
- Replace parts such as brakes, suspension components, and exhausts
- Support senior technicians when required
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience working as a mechanic or in a similar role
- Good understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop skills further
- Strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred
