Overview
Weve been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help recruit a Consultant in Rheumatology on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis. Our client is one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in England, serving a regional, national, and international population. The trust is a regional centre for cancer, bone marrow transplants, trauma, renal dialysis, burns and plastics, HIV and AIDS, and respiratory conditions such as cystic fibrosis; thoracic surgery and has the largest solid organ transplantation programme in Europe, alongside being a designated Level 1 Trauma Centre and host of the UK7s only u00a420m National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Surgical Reconstruction and Microbiology Research Centre (SRMRC). The trust is located in Birmingham, a major, culturally diverse city with access to a major international airport and strong transport links to big cities such as London. The hospital is well renowned for its good working relationships and friendly environment. It is a University Hospital with links to trusts throughout the West Midlands, offering opportunities to strengthen teaching and R&D and bring a more academic environment to the hospital.
Successful candidates will join an established Consultant and MDT in developing and delivering Rheumatology services as the Directorate of Rheumatology undergoes an exciting period of expansion to meet rising demand in Rheumatology needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Specialist Registration is not essential
- Open to experienced Consultants or new Consultants
