Due to retirements, we are seeking GP’s to join our family friendly, well established practice whether it be full-time/part-time, salaried/partnership, GMS/Out of Hours, overseas graduates, we would be happy to discuss flexible working arrangements.
We offer what is now a near unique form of general practice – with almost seamless patient care being provided within our Health Centre, Community Hospital and A&E department, all of which are located under the one roof. With this post comes a high income, plus the opportunity to live in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the west coast of Scotland.

- Advanced nurse practitioner

- Primary care mental health team

Ancillary Services
Full ancillary services including
- Excellent community nursing and Macmillan teams
- Midwife led maternity unit
- CTAC service
- Occupational Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- X-ray department with regular on site ultrasound clinics
- Consultant outreach clinics including medicine, surgery, paediatrics, dermatology, gynaecology, psychiatry and ophthalmology.
In addition to our GMS work for our own patients, there is the option with additional remuneration of participating in OOH medical cover for the South Kintyre area and for our 15-bed community hospital and its A&E department supported by highly experienced Advanced nurse practitioners.
Maximum of 12 patients per surgery. Number of surgeries per week vary from 3-8 depending on OOH on-call rota. Your choice working arrangements. Only occasional house calls. Daily morning huddle. Vision/Docman software. No CQC or QOF. High earning + MDDUS paid. No buy in to the practice. 45 days annual leave. Mentoring & support for newly qualified GPs.
There really is a great family and outdoor lifestyle to be enjoyed here with good schools, a wide range of local shops in Campbeltown (population c.5000), wonderful scenery and beaches on our doorstep, two championship golf courses, a modern swimming pool, a two-screen cinema, Loganair flights to and from Glasgow 6 days a week, a daily bus service to Glasgow and a 4 day a week passenger-only ferry link to Ballycastle in Northern Ireland.
