Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator with experience in supply chain, shipping, freight forwarding and export documentation to join our growing and friendly team at Redler. This role focuses on logistics coordination, import/export compliance and efficient despatch operations.

Salary: £36,000 per annum + Benefits

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire, South West England

Job Type: Full‑Time, Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Logistics and Despatch: Manage the packing, scheduling and despatch of spare parts and project equipment to UK and global customers.
  • Manage Shipping Documentation: Prepare export documentation, commercial invoices and packing lists in line with international trade requirements.
  • Ensure On‑Time Delivery: Monitor and improve on‑time delivery (OTD) performance across all shipments.
  • Oversee Packaging Solutions: Develop efficient and protective packing standards for all goods.
  • Liaise With Stakeholders: Work closely with customers, freight forwarders and internal departments to coordinate shipments and collections.
  • Handle Import and Export Operations: Manage all inbound and outbound logistics, including customs and compliance.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Provide expertise on export regulations, Incoterms 2020 and shipping compliance.
  • Control Transport Costs: Identify cost‑effective logistics and transportation solutions.
  • Verify Goods and Documentation: Ensure all goods are inspected, labelled and dispatched with accurate paperwork.
  • Coordinate Certificates of Origin: Liaise with relevant bodies to obtain certification and legalisation of export documents.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in logistics coordination, supply chain or shipping roles.
  • Experience with import / export processes, freight forwarding, customs documentation, chamber of commerce, letters of credit.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping regulations and export compliance.
  • Strong organisational and logistics planning skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers, suppliers and freight partners.
  • Experience with warehouse operations, packaging and goods handling.
  • High attention to detail when preparing shipping and export documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an operations, logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient IT skills, including logistics, ERP or order management systems.
