Hatched Talent Solutions is supporting a growing and well-established organisation in the appointment of a Laundry Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
This opportunity is ideal for a skilled and dependable engineer who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, maintaining high operational standards, and working within a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting operational efficiency through both preventative maintenance and reactive engineering support.
The role will involve working across a range of machinery and site systems, ensuring equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The successful individual will work closely with production and facilities teams to maintain smooth day-to-day operations and uphold high engineering standards across the site.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across machinery and equipment
• Responding to breakdowns and diagnosing faults efficiently
• Completing mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard
• Supporting equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records where required
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Commercial Laundry maintenance or engineering environment, alongside strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across both mechanical and electrical systems.
A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team are essential for success in this role. Relevant engineering qualifications or a completed apprenticeship would be advantageous.
