1st Step Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Building Services provider, for a Small Works Project Manager (Electrical Bias) delivering projects across the UK.
Small Works Project Manager (Electrical Bias)Location: Hybrid / Remote (occasional travel to Shrewsbury)Salary: Circa £45k to £52k package
This role is ideal for an electrically qualified professional looking to step further into project management while remaining hands‑on with delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage electrical small works projects (£5k‑£30k) from quotation through to completion
- Deliver installations, upgrades, compliance works and rollout programmes
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify further works opportunities
Requirements
- Electrical background within Building Services or Facilities Management
- Experience delivering small works / minor projects
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- Strong organisation, communication, and commercial awareness
- Competence using CAFM systems, project management platforms, or similar tools
- Experience producing, reviewing, and working to RAMS and method statements
