Overview
We are seeking a passionate and committed clinical or counselling psychologist to join our Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT) in Ealing. MINT is a multidisciplinary service providing holistic support and treatment to adults presenting with a range of mental health difficulties within a stepped‑care framework. We have an established psychology team which is well integrated and highly valued in the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide highly specialist assessments and treatment for individuals with complex mental health conditions, both 1-1 and in groups.
- Work 1-1 with clients and embed psychological principles within the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- Disseminate psychological thinking, consultation and leadership within the MDT.
- Focus on DBT, working with clients who struggle to regulate emotions, behaviours and relationships.
- Provide psychological consultation and guidance to the whole MDT and offer supervision and training for trainee and assistant psychologists.
- Support service developments, audit and research to sustain the quality of services.
- Collaborate with trainee psychologists, local doctorate courses and a large network of psychological colleagues across the Trust.
Candidate Requirements
- Psychology degree and qualification to practise as a clinical or counselling psychologist.
- Experience or strong interest in working with complex needs, trauma and personality disorder diagnoses.
- Passion for working within a team and promoting psychological ways of working.
- Passion for DBT and experience working with DBT clients.
- Experience working with people from varied cultural backgrounds, including the use of interpreters when necessary.
