We are a family run care home set in the heart or Rostrevor, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains.

We are seeking a reliable and practical maintenance and Gardening assistant to support the smooth running and presentation of our care home and surrounding grounds. Join our supportive, friendly team and an opportunity to make a real difference in our residents lives.

Key responsibilities

• General maintenance and repairs
• Maintain gardens, lawns and outdoor spaces to a high standard
• Grass cutting, hedge trimming
• Keep pathways and outdoor areas clean and safe
• Seasonal work (Winter gritting, leaf clearing)
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly/recycling
• Assist with moving/setting up equipment
• Assist with basic room repairs and painting
• Liaise with external contractors when required
