Apply for the VP Operations
Location: Glasgow
Job Description:

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is a global leader in the hotel management and hospitality industry, with years of combined expertise in all aspects of hotel management across a wide range of hotels and brands. From brand new hotels built from the ground up and luxury full‑service hotels to select‑service and extended‑stay properties, we partner our owners to optimise their investment. We’re now looking for a VP of Operations to lead performance across a region within our UK portfolio, and to help shape strategic direction as we continue to grow.

The Role

Reporting to the Divisional President, you will provide strategic oversight across a diverse portfolio of branded and independent properties within our UK portfolio. As the conduit between the business and our owners, you will lead a regional team of functional specialists to provide an exceptional service to our owners that reflects our vision to be the most trusted partner and operator in the market.

This role will partner owners through each stage of the management lifecycle, from transition to exit, helping them to make informed, confident decisions that drive asset value and maximise return on investment. You’ll anticipate owner needs and build trust through proactive insight and action, whilst leading a culture rooted in commercial rigour and people‑centred leadership throughout the region.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have deep experience leading the strategic vision across all elements of hotel operations, particularly F&B, both as a GM and at a regional level. Crucially, you will also bring experience of successfully partnering multiple owner groups through complexity. The right person will combine:

  • Commercial fluency: across revenue management, distribution, digital and margin strategy
  • Owner‑aligned thinking: transparent, accountable and able to justify investment with confidence
  • People‑first leadership: building business resilience through strong talent pipelines and empowered leaders
  • Technology intelligence: bringing the ability to evaluate ROI, enable adoption and work alongside data‑driven teams
  • Organisational agility: comfortable navigation of complexity, transitions and new openings across a multi‑market portfolio
  • Growth mindset: understands the development pipeline and leverages existing and new relationships to support sustainable growth.

Why Aimbridge

In this role, you’ll be a trusted member of our senior team, influencing strategic direction, shaping how we partner our owners, and helping to build the future of Aimbridge in EMEA. You’ll be part of a global leadership community with access to the networks, exposure and development that come with operating at scale, and have the autonomy to lead in a way that reflects your experience and vision.

At Aimbridge, we recognise that people are the heart of our business. As a global leader, we are committed to representing our global community and offering everyone ‘A Place to Grow’.
