Section Engineer – Civil Engineering – Birmingham – £40,000‑£50,000 + (DOE)

Overview

The role is a Section Engineer working on Civil Engineering schemes in Birmingham. Responsibilities include working on a £30 million highway scheme covering roundabout widening, lane addition, and pedestrian and cycle lane improvements.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing a section of works for schemes, managing ITPs & QAs, and supervising junior engineers on the section.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering Civil Engineering schemes as a Section Engineer
• Experience with a main contractor or regional contractor
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent (preferable)
• ICT skills including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Problem‑solving skills
• CSCS card
• Residence or ability to commute to Birmingham
