Team Overview
The Y TREE Client Team team is one of the largest and most integral in the business. By delivering a seamless and highly personalised financial advice, you will build the foundational trust that underpins long-term client relationships. The Role
- Working under the guidance of the Adviser, you will conduct in-depth portfolio and asset analysis and contribute to the development of asset liability management tools.
- You will also make recommendations for client portfolios in line with their risk tolerance and investment objectives. This work contributes to building each client’s Financial Life Strategy, underpinning all of the financial advice we offer.
- A significant part of your role will be to participate in and contribute to client meetings. You will build presentation materials for client meetings, including Introduction Meetings, Target Setting, and Annual Reviews.
- Create and manage the schedule for all Strategy Reviews, ensuring all components are completed on time, and tracking the progress of each review.
- As part of an agile, meritocratic culture, you will also have the opportunity to be part of broader firm-building initiatives such as recruitment, user testing, strategy and digital product experiences.
About You
Technical Skills
- You will have 2-3 years of work experience in financial services, working in a junior advisory or client services role. This could be from an institutional or retail background.
- You will have started financial planning related exams e.g. CII, CISI, CFA.
- You will have a 2:1 or higher degree with an excellent dissertation mark (or equivalent).

- You are an energetic self-starter who thrives on autonomy and is adept at prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines. You are looking for more challenges and the opportunity to develop your career in financial planning and advice.
- You possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and are highly responsive.
- You are an effective collaborator, confident working as part of a team that is building a business.
- You have a keen eye for detail and find satisfaction in completing tasks and ticking off lists. This is imperative.
- You are solutions-led with the ability to proactively seek answers.
