Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Property Manager who leads by example? We are seeking a Senior Property Manager to join a leading independent estate agent in the Pontefract area, known for its strong reputation, supportive team, and high-performing office.
In this hands-on property management role, you will oversee one member of the team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day management of the portfolio. Together, you will deliver a seamless and professional property management service across the business.
As Senior Property Manager, what’s in it for you?
- A basic salary of up to £30,000 depending on your level of experience

Your role as a Senior Property Manager:
- Ensuring clients receive legally accurate, practical, and timely responses to enquiries and issues
- Managing the organisation of EPCs, annual Gas Safety Tests, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports, ensuring all properties remain compliant and liaising with landlords regarding any follow-up works required
- Demonstrating a full understanding of industry legislation and ensuring compliance is maintained across the portfolio
- Ensuring the department adheres to all legal and compliance obligations
- Managing minor repairs, refurbishment projects, and insurance claims on behalf of landlords and tenants, liaising with approved contractors to maximise rental returns
- Pursuing and collecting rental payments from tenants in accordance with tenancy agreements
- Facilitating fair and prompt deposit resolutions and preparing properties for re-letting efficiently
- Overseeing property visits and inventories, ensuring professionalism is maintained when dealing with landlords, tenants, and contractors, and ensuring reports are followed up appropriately
- Handling complaints effectively and professionally to achieve satisfactory outcomes
What we’re looking for from a Senior Property Manager:
- Previous property management experience is essential – a minimum of 2 years is required for this role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
- A proactive and organised approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail
- A professional and well-presented manner
- Excellent punctuality and organisational skills
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
