Finance Manager (Financial Modelling and Business Support)

Overview

Finance Manager (Financial Modelling and Business Support) for a leading residential developer in the South East. Potensis is pleased to partner with a trusted developer and is recruiting a Finance Manager who will be a key member of the Finance team and help the business achieve its long-term growth plans. Responsibilities

• Preparing month end balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts, monthly journals and account analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecasts.
• Work as the secondary divisional contact, covering for the Finance Director as required.
• Ensure that all cash flow forecasts are as accurate as possible.
• Implement and oversee regional financial policies aligned with Group standards to ensure robust governance.
• Provide financial insight at local Board and Valuation Review meetings to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance system efficiency.
• Manage the interim and year end process with external auditors through to sign off for the division and prepare divisional reporting returns.

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience of working within a similar role would be preferred.
• Experience of working with accountancy software.
• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Financial modelling and proficient IT skills (Word, Outlook).
• Excellent administration and organisation skills.
• Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
