Superintendent Radiographer (Cardiac Catheter Lab)

Overview

Radiographer experienced in Cardiac Interventional Radiology to join the Cardiac Radiology team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. The post holder will run and support the service, liaise with Cardiology colleagues to provide a safe and effective service, and work with the wider Radiology team within the Radiology Centre.

Responsibilities

• Run and support the interventional cardiology imaging service.
• Liaise with Cardiology colleagues to provide a safe and effective service.
• Work with the wider Radiology team within the Radiology Centre.
• Support operational management of the interventional cardiology imaging department under the guidance of the Lead Superintendent Radiographer.
• Be integral to the Hospital Transformation Programme as the service relocates to The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and develops a state-of-the-art Cardiology Suite.
• Participate in relocation planning and change processes as the service moves (early 2028).

Relocation and Programme

Service relocation to The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in 2028 as part of the Hospital Transformation Programme (HTP). Successful candidates will move with the Service after formal change management and staff support.
