An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated and compassionate multi-disciplinary team at the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service (USAIS).
USAIS is renowned for providing a regional service for severely and profoundly deaf children, young people and adults across the south of England and the Channel Islands.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to life‑changing care for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss, supporting them through assessment, implantation, rehabilitation and beyond.
The work includes specialist psychological assessment, formulation and therapy, and offers opportunities for individual work, group work, and service‑wide collaboration. You may teach on university courses, partner charity programmes and contribute to audit and service development.
