Job Title: Senior Urology Fellow

Duration: 12 months
Purpose for Fixed Term: Training Contract
This post is appointed on a fixed-term basis for the primary purpose of providing structured training and supervised clinical development. While the postholder will contribute to service delivery, the overarching goal is to deliver defined educational opportunities, supervised clinical practice, and experience aligned to the relevant specialty training curriculum.
Responsibilities
The postholder will:
- Provide patient care and clinical services under supervision.
- Participate in allied teams and contribute to service delivery.
- Engage in research, audit and teaching activities with senior staff and trainees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of specialty training.
- Hold a relevant higher specialty examination such as FRCP, FRCA, FRCS.
- Portfolio of evidence demonstrating progression in line with the curriculum for the specialty.
Education & Development
The successful applicant will receive an educational framework equivalent to training grade doctors, with a named educational supervisor appointed at the start of the post. Continued Professional Development (CPD) is highly supported and encouraged, with options to take study leave.
