Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Manchester – Up to £70,000

A leading Legal 500 recognised healthcare law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its highly regarded national team.

This award-winning practice acts for NHS Resolution, medical defence organisations and healthcare insurers, advising on complex and high-value defendant clinical negligence and healthcare litigation matters.

You’ll work within a collaborative and nationally respected team, handling challenging cases while benefiting from flexible working, strong partner support and clear progression opportunities.

With a consistent pipeline of high-quality instructions, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialist expertise within one of the UK’s most established healthcare litigation teams.

The Role

  • Manage a caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims
  • Act on behalf of NHS Resolution, medical defence organisations and healthcare insurers
  • Advise healthcare professionals and providers on complex and high-value litigation
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements and case reports in line with client reporting requirements
  • Support senior lawyers on strategic and technically complex matters
  • Assist with client training, relationship management and business development initiatives

About You

  • A qualified solicitor with at least 1 year PQE
  • Experienced in defendant clinical negligence work
  • Technically strong with experience in healthcare or medical malpractice litigation
  • A confident communicator with strong analytical and drafting skills
  • Client-focused and comfortable managing complex caseloads
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
