Overview
You will turn college data into clear, helpful reports that support teaching, learner progress, funding and planning. Working with teams across the college, you’ll explain what the data means, highlight key trends and help others use information with confidence. You’ll make sure reports are accurate, on time and meet legal and funding requirements, while keeping learner and staff data safe. You’ll also help improve our systems and dashboards so information is easier to access and understand. Throughout, you’ll manage your workload well and deliver a friendly, professional service.
Responsibilities
- Turn college data into clear, helpful reports that support teaching, learner progress, funding and planning.
- Explain data meaning, highlight key trends and assist teams across the college in using information confidently.
- Ensure reports are accurate, delivered on time, and meet legal and funding requirements while protecting learner and staff data.
- Help improve systems and dashboards to make information easier to access and understand.
- Manage workload effectively and provide a friendly, professional service.
Qualifications
- Experience working with large sets of data in education, the public sector or business.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel to check, analyse and summarise information.
- Experience writing SQL queries, or similar skills that can transfer.
- A track record of producing accurate reports to tight deadlines.
- Experience spotting and fixing data quality issues.
