They’re looking for a skilled, motivated, and forward‑thinking Field Service Engineer to join the team and be part of their journey.
They are looking for a hands‑on Field Service Engineer to carry out servicing, thorough examinations, repairs and breakdown support across our customer base. This is a varied and mobile role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working on a wide range of equipment, diagnosing problems, performing repairs and representing Welfaux in a professional, customer‑focused way, all with the support of an expert service team allowing you to focus purely on your engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities As Field Service Engineer:
- Service, maintain and repair a wide variety of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
- Respond to breakdowns and keep customer downtime to a minimum.
- Build strong relationships with customers through reliable, professional service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in field based mechanical and/or electrical engineering role, ideally within forklifts.
- Thorough Examination (LOLER & PUWER) Certification highly desirable.
- A self‑motivated engineer with strong diagnostic, fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are beneficial but experience and attitude matter most.
- Must hold a valid UK driver’s licence.
