Locum Consultant in Neonatal Medicine and Neonatal Transport (PaNDR)

Applications are invited for three Locum Consultant posts in Neonatology and Neonatal PaNDR at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. These posts are replacement posts:
- Post 1: Locum Consultant in Neonatal Medicine and Neonatal Transport (PaNDR) – available from as soon as possible for 6 months
- Post 2: Locum Consultant in Neonatal Medicine and Neonatal Transport (PaNDR) – available from 20 July 2026 until 20 July 2027
- Post 3: Locum Consultant in Neonatal Medicine (8PA’s) – available from as soon as possible for 12 months

Main duties of the job
The appointees will provide consultant clinical leadership and specialist advice for the neonatal unit and for PaNDR. They will deliver consultant‑led transport shifts and participate in all aspects of service delivery.
The neonatal unit at Cambridge is a tertiary level unit within the East of England Neonatal Operational Delivery Network. It operates at 40 cots (28 ITU/HDU and 12 SCBU) with just under 6,000 inborn deliveries annually, and offers comprehensive neonatal intensive care, high‑risk maternal and fetal medicine support, specialist neonatal surgery and neurosurgery.
Qualifications and experience
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.
Applicants who require skilled worker sponsorship or are unable to work full time or wish to job‑share are welcome.

Salary
£113,565 to £150,569 a year pro‑rata (per annum).
