Account Director Hybrid London, UK There is a huge shift in the media landscape as a new generation of consumers engages with social media to research products and shape their buying decisions, rather than searching in traditional channels. Our mission is to guide brands on how they can maximise the exploding social commerce opportunity on TikTok and drive meaningful results for their business. We’re looking for an Account Director who has extensive experience in social commerce, specifically across TikTok Shop operations, Lives and Ads strategy and management. You must show real passion for educating clients about the opportunities in the social commerce space, be a strong people manager and be experienced in delivering results for clients. Understand our clients’ business requirements and act as their strategic advisor on TikTok Shop performance Build great relationships with our senior clients, up to Marketing Director and CMO level and lead informative and effective client meetings Hire, manage, and develop account management team members Work with your client team to optimise our clients social commerce activity and drive sales and profitability on campaigns Use advanced data analytics to identify areas of growth, and test and learn within your client portfolio Define and deliver Live strategies to achieve client objectives, working closely with our Studio team on high quality delivery Work closely with our organic social team to integrate operations and organic content strategies and goals Manage and reconcile client budgets and spend and support our Finance team to manage client and creator invoice and billing processes Onyx is a scale-up business which means we are looking for people with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit who can play a key role in helping us to create long-term client relationships, drive our business metrics, build an enviable culture and have fun along the way. Extensive (2+ years minimum) experience of defining and managing social commerce strategies, specifically in TikToK Shop operations and Lives management within an agency or brand environment Proven ability to manage and meet TikTok GMV and brand objectives and targets, and confident discussing commerce strategies with senior client stakeholders up to CMO level Advanced excel, data analysis and mathematical skills to enable client campaign optimisation and reporting, and budget management and reconciliation Deep interest in and insight into digital marketing industry trends and able to educate clients on the sector An inspiring and empathetic leadership style with experience managing and developing an account or delivery team, including recruitment and objective setting Strong educational background to degree level or equivalentExcellent presentation skills to include advanced PPT/Google Slides skills to create and deliver professional and effective content for client meetings Additional skills a bonus:
