A high-calibre Project Manager with proven energy trading domain expertise across business and IT is required for a renowned Energy Trading house. Operating across Front, Middle & Back Office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering critical technology initiatives, partnering with trading, risk, operations and IT to drive measurable business outcomes.
This is about leading the convergence of business change and technology change across a trading environment where the divide between traders and tech is being deliberately removed.
The firm is seeking a senior Project Manager to support a brand-new vertical — offering the opportunity to truly make the role your own. You will work closely with the Head of IT Delivery and senior stakeholders, operating with autonomy while being central to strategic change initiatives.
The firm are going through an exciting Technology Evolution including:
- Upgrading and enhancing off-the-shelf trading platforms
- Enterprise ETRM migration
- Onboarding new products and expanding trading lines
- Driving automation across testing and release cycles
- Implementing modern architecture, tooling and data capabilities
- Strengthening regulatory, risk and controls frameworks
This Senior Project Management hire will provide high-visibility oversight of portfolio performance, governance, and delivery across a complex IT trading environments.
Critically — they need someone who understands energy. Specifically EU Gas & Power and its related products.
You will be comfortable operating at C-level and desk-head level, able to challenge constructively while maintaining credibility in highly commercial environments.
