Senior Network Engineer – Innovation & Technology Department, London
We are looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer for our Innovation & Technology department in London. Responsibilities
- Operating, monitoring and continuously optimising data centre and campus networks (Cisco ACI, Cisco SD-WAN, Kemp Loadbalancer).
- Implementing and maintaining network policies, as well as conducting network audits and risk assessments.
- Analysing and resolving complex network incidents, including performing root cause analysis.
- Enhancing and developing network automation using Ansible and Python.
- Maintaining network documentation within our DCIM tool (Nautobot) and creating operational manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborating with IT Security teams (e.g. Cisco / Fortigate Firewalls), managing external service providers, and contributing to network projects and infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent vocational training with an IT focus.
- At least 5 years’ experience operating enterprise or data centre network environments.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco ACI, SD-WAN and Kemp load balancers.
- CCNP-level networking knowledge (certification desirable but not essential).
- A structured and solution‑oriented approach to work, with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience with DCIM tools (e.g. Nautobot) and firewalls (e.g. Fortigate, Cisco).
