Environmental, Health & Safety Manager – Bromsgrove

Are you passionate about Health and Safety and driven by Environmental compliance?

I am looking for a boots on the ground, Pro-Active and highly visible Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to work with a manufacturing business in the Bromsgrove area. This site-based role requires implementing, monitoring processes, and promoting best practice in all health, safety and environmental compliance areas.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for Health and Safety and concerns for multiple sites, including developing, managing and monitoring of HSE matters.
• Be the go-to expert for all matters regarding HSE and work with the senior leadership team, giving guidance where required.
• Promote a positive attitude to safe working and operating with all internal stakeholders.
• Be the first port of call for external agencies regarding HSE matters (COSHH etc).
• Keep the business compliant with changing regulations and implement any needed changes.
• Implement and develop a robust culture of Health and Safety.
• Monitor compliance for all external contractors on site, ensuring all RAMS are correct and adhered to.
• Ensure all documentation is up to date and maintained.

Skills & Experience

• Proven track record as an HSE Manager within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Confident communicating with operators to leadership, being able to motivate and implement change.
• Minimum NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent).
• Excellent communicator at all levels, both verbally and written.
• Able to work autonomously and pro-actively.
• Experience of working to CDM 2015 Regulations.
• Organised and able to work under pressure.
• Experience of working to ISO 45001, 14001 and 18001.
