Overview
We are looking for an experienced Doctors Consultant / Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of UK‑wide clients for temporary doctor placements. This role blends account management and candidate delivery, ensuring consistent fulfilment and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage existing client accounts, ensuring all bookings are fulfilled efficiently and to a high standard.
- Build strong relationships with both clients and doctors, acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Source and place doctors into temporary roles, managing availability, compliance and bookings.
- Identify opportunities to increase fill rates, expand into new departments and grow revenue within existing accounts.
- Stay close to market conditions, including pay rates, availability trends and competitor activity, using this insight to maintain a competitive edge.
What We’re Looking For
- Direct experience working with doctor locums or medical staffing.
- Understanding the pace and urgency of temporary placements and ability to manage multiple bookings at once.
- Organised, responsive and commercially aware.
