The Role

We are seeking a Stress Engineer to support the development of complex composite aerostructures. Reporting to the Mechanical Design Team Leader, you will deliver analysis, reporting, and technical support across key projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stress analysis using FEA tools (e.g. Hyperworks, NASTRAN/PATRAN, ANSYS)
• Apply aerospace methodologies for metallic and composite structures
• Produce technical reports and maintain project documentation
• Support customer design reviews and technical discussionsManage external analysis support where required
• Contribute to cost optimisation and product development

About You

• Experience in stress analysis of composite structures
• Strong understanding of aerospace stress methodologies
• Confident communicator with strong analytical skills
• Dynamic/non-linear and F&DT analysis experience
• Knowledge of certification requirements
• Understanding of composite manufacturing processes
