We’re recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team at a busy production site in Maidstone. The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for keeping fast‑paced production machinery running efficiently through reactive and planned maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairs on production and packaging machinery
• Electrical fault finding, including checking inputs/outputs on PLC systems
• Planned preventative maintenance across site equipment
• Continuous improvement and reliability projects
• Supporting production to minimise downtime and maximise output

What We’re Looking For

• Multi‑skilled engineer (electrical or mechanical bias welcomed)
• Comfortable fault finding electrically in a manufacturing environment
• Experience checking PLC inputs/outputs and diagnosing faults
• Previous experience in FMCG, food, packaging, or fast‑paced manufacturing ideal
• Proactive attitude with a strong team ethic
