With a strong and growing pipeline of projects, Vortex is expanding and looking to bring in experienced Wind Turbine Technicians, both contract and permanent roles available.
We’re keen to speak with technicians experienced on:
• Siemens 2.3 VS
• Siemens 2.3 CS
• Siemens 1.3
• Vestas V52, V66, V80
The Role:
• Servicing
• Fault finding
• Major component exchange
• Planned maintenance
Location & Travel:
• Work across Scotland
• Must be willing to travel and stay away from home where necessary for the week, occasionally max 2 weeks
Desirable:
• AT or CT status on Siemens 1.3/2.3 CS/VS
• Willingness to work towards and sit AT panels for key clients
Development & Progression:
• Support and training provided to achieve AT status
• Opportunities for progression as the company continues to grow
Opportunities & Package:
• Authorised Technicians: £46,000 – £52,000 (DOE)
• Competent technician (CT) – Negotiable on experience
• Paid travel & accommodation
• Overtime
• Transport provided
• Flexible rotation patterns (contractors)
• Strong pipeline of ongoing work
• Immediate starts available
