Bookkeeper – Accountancy Practice

We are working with a well-established and reputable firm of accountants who are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

Based in North West London, this role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio across a range of industries within a growing and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
• Performing double-entry bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations and processing journals
• Manage payment runs and payment processing
• Handling invoice and day-to-day accounts processes
• Liaising with clients and responding to queries

Key Skills

• Proven bookkeeping experience within a professional services firm
• Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
• A relevant accounting qualification (e.g. AAT or equivalent)
• Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
