Theroleofa NightShiftCoordinatorat WS Solutions involvesbeingthefirstpointofcontactfor WS drivers, resolvingqueries,andprovidingsupporttothenightoperation.Thecoordinatorisresponsibleformonitoringservicelevels,maintainingstandards,andensuringefficienthandlingofconsignments. Managing all transport related issues, to ensure maintenance issues are recorded and actioned in advance of dayshift handover. The role requires a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal , and the ability to work under pressure
Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:
Briefing/debriefing site-based drivers & distributing allocated work.
Processingdiscrepanciesonconsignmentswithaccuracyandattentiontodetail.
Keepingaccuraterecordsofdiscussionsorcorrespondencewithdepots/contracts.
Dealingwithdifficulttelephonecallscalmlyandprofessionally.
- Communicatingwithwarehouseandcustomerserviceteamstoensuresmoothhandoversbetweenshifts.
