Senior Civil Engineer

Standout opportunity now available at an established consultancy based in the Midlands.

We seek a Senior Civil Engineer at Senior or Principle / Associate level, ideally experienced in Highways and Drainage with a priority prerequisite of Section 278 compliance, who will be promoted to Associate Director after 6 months.

Hybrid role: three days in office, two days remote.

Responsibilities

• Produce or coordinate drainage appraisals and designs from concept to detailed design, including S104 drawings.
• Direct flood risk assessments to NPFF.
• Coordinate and produce cut and fill and external level designs.
• Liaise with local authorities and councils regarding Section 278 for entrances, road widening, and roundabout layouts.
• Manage own projects and produce detailed engineering designs while coordinating internal designs.

Qualifications

• Senior or Principle level Civil Engineer with experience in Highways and Drainage, and a strong understanding of Section 278.
• Proficiency in MicroDrainage, PDS/Civils 3D, and AutoCAD.
• Close to or already Chartered status.
• Strong project management skills and ability to produce detailed designs.
