Position Overview
Heron Park Primary Academy is looking to recruit a committed Welfare Manager on a permanent, full‑time, term‑time only basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference as your role will lead on safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, championing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. You will be a key figure in supporting children and families, ensuring barriers to learning are addressed with care, compassion and expertise.
Qualifications
- Educated to A Level or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals.
- Capable of building positive, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and external agencies.
- Calm, resilient and able to respond sensitively to complex and sometimes challenging situations.
- Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team.
- Committed to promoting the welfare, wellbeing and inclusion of all pupils.
- Proactive and able to use initiative to support children in overcoming barriers to learning.
