We are currently seeking a Planner to join our dynamic award winning team. Our client is delivering one of the most complex and high‑profile airport infrastructure programmes in the UK today. Backed by Government and key industry stakeholders, the organisation is progressing a wide portfolio of capital projects spanning airfield works, terminal development and real estate investment. This is an excellent opportunity for planners to join at a formative stage, supporting early planning, assurance and delivery activities while gaining exposure to nationally significant infrastructure within a fast‑paced operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust delivery schedule with clear milestones, coordinating work sequences with the total project plan.
- Perform schedule monitoring, identify critical activities, and assist in updating and monitoring the schedule.
- Develop and apply installation rates, review and analyze contractor schedules, and provide recommendations to the project team.
- Evaluate quantities, job hours and schedule logic; prepare progress and performance reports.
- Manage contract programme assessment, compensation events and perform delay analysis.
Qualifications
- Degree or postgraduate level education in construction or business related field.
- Experience as a planner on projects over £5m, with proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
- Experience in planning infrastructure projects, performing quantity takeoffs and statistical analysis.
- Understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction processes and NEC contracts.
- Strong communication skills, personal resilience and ability to operate within ambiguity.
